Entering his senior season, Marshall is ranked fourth in the OU record book in slugging percentage, seventh in runs scored (90), second in triples (8), sixth in stolen bases (37), tied for seventh in RBI (82), third in homeruns (23), and second in walks (67).
2015: Marshall played in 50 games and made 49 starts at first base for the Braves. He was a Preseason NAIA All-American. Marshall finished the year with a .282 batting average, tallying 40 hits in 142 at bats to earn Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. He scored 32 runs, hit four doubles, tallied four triples, and hit a school record 13 home runs. Marshall drove in 35 runs, had a slugging percentage of .641, walked 29 times, and was hit by a pitch eight times. He had an on base percentage of .428, hit one sacrifice fly, and went 8-for-12 in stolen base attempts. Marshall had nine multi-hit games and hit two homeruns in a game against St. Gregory’s University (3/7). He finished the season ranked eighth in the NAIA in homeruns (13), 18th in homeruns per game (0.2), 37th in total putouts (334), and 41st in total chances (356).
2014: Marshall appeared and started in 48 games in his sophomore season on his way to earning First Team All-KCAC honors. He went 62-for-151 at the plate, finishing with a .411 batting average. He scored 43 runs, hit eight doubles, had four triples, tallied 10 homeruns, had a slugging percentage of .715, had 24 walks, was hit by pitch three times, finished with an on base percentage of .500, and he was 26-for-28 in stolen base attempts. Marshall hit a career high two homeruns against Tabor College (3/2), had a career high four hits against Kansas Wesleyan University (4/12), tallied a career high four RBI three times with the last being against Kansas Wesleyan University (4/12), and hit his first collegiate homerun against Waldorf College (3/10). He had 20 multi-hit games and a career high 12 game hitting streak. Marshall finished the season ranked 12th in the NAIA in slugging percentage (.715), 15th in homerun (10), 20th in homeruns per game (.2), 28th in total bases per game (2.2), 29th in total bases (108), 29th in total stolen bases (26), 33rd in batting average (.411), 40th in triples (4), 41st in stolen bases per game (.542), and 47th in total steal attempts (28).
2013: As a freshman, Marshall played in 28 games with 21 starts for the Braves. He had a .208 batting average with 10 hits in 48 at bats. Marshall finished his first collegiate season by scoring 15 runs, driving in five runs; he hit two doubles, had a slugging percentage of .271, earned 14 walks, had an on base percentage of .400, and was 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts. He had three multi hit games three times with the last being against Kansas Wesleyan University (4/21). Marshall earned his first collegiate hit, run, and RBI against Central Christian College (2/16).
High School: Marshall earned two letters in baseball and three in swimming for McPherson High School. He was a two-time Second Team All-League selection, earning honors at first base in 2011 and at pitcher in 2012. Marshall also earned Honorable Mention All-Area honors by the Hutchinson News at first base in 2011 and as a pitcher in 2012.
