Coach Gage is in his first season as a student assistant with the OU baseball program.
Gage played in 21 games as a redshirt freshman in 2023. He had a .143 batting average (3-21), scored four runs, had a .143 slugging percentage, walked three times, had a .250 on base percentage and stole one base.
Prior to coming to OU, Gage attended Eastern Oklahoma Sate College. In a CoVID-19 shortened 2020, Gage played in 11 games. He had a .424 batting average, scored seven runs, hit one double, drove in six runs, walked twice, had a .472 on base percentage, and a .455 slugging percentage.
Gage attended Pryor High School, lettering in baseball and basketball. He was a three-time All-Region selection at short stop. Gage helped his team to four District Championships, four region championships, and four trips to the state tournament. The 2018 Tigers finished second in 5A and the 2019 team was the Oklahoma 5A State Champions.
Gage is a sports studies major.
