Coach Benoit is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Ottawa University baseball program.

Before coming to Ottawa University, Benoit was an assistant coach at Post University in Waterbury, CT. He was responsible for infielders and technology while assisting efforts with hitting and recruiting. Benoit was in charge of the Synergy video system and helped coordinate efforts in Blast, Rapsodo, and WIN Reality virtual reality.  While at Post, Benoit helped develop an offense that ranked nationally in Division II in the top 25 for Home Runs per Game, top 50 for Slugging Percentage, and produced a NCAA Division II National Player of the Week along with several CACC Conference Players of the Week.

Prior to his time at Post University, Benoit was a baseball coach at St. Pius X Catholic High School and was involved as both an assistant and head coach with various club/travel teams in the Atlanta area. He helped the Druid Hills Red Devils to a runner-up finish at the 2019 Dizzy Dean National Championship.

Benoit spent his first year in college playing baseball under Claudio Reilsono at Carnegie Mellon University, and ultimately graduated in 2019 from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor of science in mechatronics engineering.
