2015: In his first year in an OU uniform, Roman played in 44 games and made 43 starts. He had 43 hits in 140 at bats for a .307 batting average. Roman scored 29 runs, hit two doubles and two homeruns. He had a slugging percentage of .407, tallied six walks, was hit by a pitch six times, had a slugging percentage of .350, hit five sacrifice flies and four sacrifice bunts, and went 9-for-13 in stolen base attempts. Roman had eight multi-hit games and had his first multi-hit game against Lyon Collge (2/14).
Cowley Community College: Roman earned two letters on the diamond for the Tigers. As a sophomore, he appeared in 30 games and finished with a .234 batting average. Roman had 10 RBI, 15 runs scored, and three stolen bases. In his freshman season, he had a .277 batting average with 23 hits, two doubles, 15 runs scored, and 14 RBI. Roman played in the Junior College Sophomore All-Star Game held in Lawrence, Kan.
High School: Roman earned four letters in cross country, basketball and baseball for Derby High School.
