Ottawa University

Mid-America Christian University: Mendoza played in eight games in 2025 for the Evangels. He had a .296 batting average (8-for-27), scored seven runs, hit three home runs, drove in 10 runs, had a .630 slugging percentage, and a .441 on base percentage. 

Western Oklahoma State College: In 2024, Mendoza played in 43 games for WOSC. He finished the year with a .316 batting average (37-for-117), drove in 20 runs, walked 33 times, had a .467 on base percentage and a .427 slugging percentage, and hit two doubles, four triples, and three home runs. 

Indian Hills Community College: Mendoza played in four games as a freshman in 2023 for IHCC. He posted a .500 batting average and a .667 on base percentage. Mendoza was named to the 2022 Fall ICCAC All-Academic Second Team and was a member of hte NJCAA Academic Team of the Year. 

High School: Mendoza lettered in baseball and basketball at Inwood Campus. He broke the school record for career steals (198) and career 3-pt field goals made.
