Biography
Entering her senior season, Bunfill is ranked third in the OU career record book in slugging percentage (.621), fourth in walks (60), 10th in at bats (461), fifth in RBI (134), first in home runs (28), second in doubles (45), fourth in runs scored (133), and sixth in stolen bases (56).
2023: Bunfill was named to the All-KCAC Teams for the third straight season with her Second Team selection as a junior. She was named to the NFCA NAIA Region IV Second Team. Bunfill led the team in batting average, hitting .357 (56-157). She scored 55 runs, hit 20 doubles and 12 home runs, drove in 53 runs, had a .713 slugging percentage, walked 26 times, was hit by a pitch five times. Bunfill had a .453 on base percentage, and was 26-for-26 in stolen base attempts. She was named KCAC Player of the Week twice. Bunfill is ranked third in the OU record book in single season slugging percentage (.718), sixth in walks (26), first in RBI (53), first in home runs (12), tied for second in doubles (20), tied for second in runs scored, and is tied for ninth in stolen bases (26).
2022: Bunfill earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors for the second straight season. She hit .280, scored 41 runs, hit 12 doubles, four triples, nine home runs, drove in 43 runs, had a .593 slugging percentage, walked 13 times, was hit by a pitch once, had a .341 on base percentage, and stole six bases.
2021: In her first collegiate season, Bunfill played and started in 52 games. She was named Honorable Mention All-KCAC. Bunfill had 47 hits, scored 37 runs, hit 13 doubles, had two triples, and seven home runs. She drove in 37 runs, had 24 stolen bases, finished with a .301 batting average, had a .545 slugging percentage, and a .381 on base percentage. Bunfill finished the season ranked 32nd in the NAIA in steal attempts (28) and 41st in total stolen bases (24).
High School: Bunfill lettered in softball and basketball at Tarkington High School. She was named Defensive MVP, earned First Team All-District, was named Newcomer of the Year, earned Second Team All-District honors, and was a four-time Academic All-District selection.
Personal: Daughter of Christian Bunfill and Elijah Bunfill ... undecided on a major. She played travel ball for Texas Strike Force under head coach Suzan Martin.
