Dallas College – Cedar Valley: At the plate, Garcia finished his two year career at DCCV with a .392 batting average (103-for-351). He scored 111 runs, hit 21 doubles, three triples, and two home runs. Garcia drove in 76 runs, walked 94 times, stole 26 bases, had a .463 on base percentage, and a .387 slugging percentage. In 2025, Garcia was a Second Team All-DAC selection. He was a Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner in 2026. As a pitcher, Garcia made 17 appearances. He had a record of 1-3 and four saves. Garcia had a 6.14 ERA, striking out 22 in 22 innings pitched.

High School: Garcia lettered in baseball at Waxahachie High School.

Personal: Son of Roger Garcia and Kiesia Butler … business administration major. Garcia played travel ball for Texas 27s for coach Justin Ray. He has eight siblings which makes Garcia extremely competitive.
