Biography

Utah State University Eastern: As a freshman, Bender batted .303 with 17 RBIs, 18 runs, and four triples for the Eagles. He played 26 of his 33 games as freshman behind home plate as a catcher.

High School: Bender lettered in baseball and golf at Tooele High School. He earned Second Team All-State and First Team All-Region honors on the baseball diamond. Bender was selected to play in a seniror All-Star Game.

Personal: Son Glenda and Rob Bender ... exercise science major.  Hobbies include snowmobiling, snowboarding, and golfing.
