Coach Lawrence is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the Ottawa University football program.

Before coming to OU, Lawrence was a student assistant coach at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. He helped create weekly game plans, coordinated drills, helped with recruiting, led film sessions with the defensive line, did academic help, and coordinated social media for the program.

Prior to being a student assistant at AC, Lawrence was a summer intern at the Bridgewater College football program. He helped the assistant coaches with recruiting, breaking down special teams, junior day recruits, and created special team plans for each upcoming opponent.

Lawrence attended Augustana College where he lettered in football. He graduated with a bachelor of arts in biology in May 2019.

Lawrence is working on his masters in business administration from Ottawa University.
