Coach Wright is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the Ottawa University football program. He will coach the Brave running backs.
Before coming to Ottawa University, Wright was a student assistant coach at the University of Wyoming in Laramie during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He coached the scout team defensive backs during practices, co-directed the scout team in film study meetings, assisted with the running backs during individual drills, prepared opponent scouting materials for coaches and players each week, and assisted with game-day travel and day-to-day operations.
Wright graduated with two degrees from the University of Wyoming. He earned his degree in kinesiology and health promotion in December 2023. Wright earned his second degree in physical education and received his teaching certification in May 2024. He is working on his MBA with a concentration in healthcare management from Ottawa University.
