Coach White is in his first season as an assistant coach and offensive coordinator in the OU football program.

White comes to Ottawa University after spending five seasons (2012-2016) as the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator at Concordia University in Nebraska. While at CU, he helped the Bulldogs to a no. 19 ranking in the NAIA Football Coaches Poll in 2016 and its first winning season in over a decade in 2013 with a record of 7-4. Under White’s leadership, the Bulldogs broke 10 offensive school individual and team records and in 2014 and set the school record for yards per game (401).

White came to Concordia after spending seven seasons as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at Missouri Valley College (2005-2011). While at MVC, White served as the Vikings recruiting coordinator. He helped MVC to a combined record of 60-20, two Heart of America Conference Championships, four trips to the NAIA Football Championship Series which included two trips to the NAIA Football Championship Series Semifinal Game. White had seven offensive lineman earn First Team All-HAAC honors between 2006 and 2011.

Prior to coaching at Missouri Valley College, White was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Wayne State College (2003-2005) in Nebraska and also spent two years (2001-2002) as a graduate assistant coach at WSC, earning his masters in sports management.

White earned his bachelor’s degree from WSC in 2001 in business administration and finance. He was a two-year starter on the offensive line at WSC after transferring from Santa Rosa Junior College in 1998. White started 22 games at center for WSC and earned All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference honors along with earning academic all-conference honors in 1999. 

White and his wife Jodi have four children and will reside in Ottawa, Kan.
