Coach Taylor is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the Ottawa University football program. He will coach the OU defensive backs.
Taylor spent the 2023 season as the defensive backs coach at Avila University.
Before working at Avila, Taylor was a student assistant coach at Ottawa University for the spring of 2019. He was an assistant defensive backs coach, was an assistant Special Teams Coordinator and helped with recruiting.
Taylor was a four year letterman for the Braves at defensive back and as a return specialist. He was a two-time All-KCAC performer, a team captain in 2018, and was a Unity Council Member 2015-2018.
Taylor played professionally for the East London Phoenix in London, England from September 2019 to April 2020. He played several positions for the Phoenix including quarterback, running back, receiver, defensive back, and return specialist.
He graduated from Ottawa University in May of 2019 with a degree in sports studies with a concentration in coaching. Taylor earned his masters in sports management (MScSM) from the University of East London in September 2020.
Taylor is working on his MBA with a concentration in sports leadership from Ottawa University.
