Coach Torneden is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Ottawa University football program. He will work with the OU defensive line.
Torneden has been heavily involved with youth football in the Lawrence, Kan. area. From 2012-2016 he was part of the coaching staff for the Hurricanes in the Lawrence Youth Football League. Since 2017, Torneden was part of the coaching staff at Southwest Middle School in Lawrence, Kan.
He is involved with Next Level Youth Football Camps, was a Leadership Lawrence Graduate, and was a member the University of Kansas Staff Senate. Torneden is certified in CPR and AED. He has his Heads Up Tackling certification.
Torneden graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in sports management and a minor in business administration.
