Coach Hobbs is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the OU football program. He is coaching the Braves’ linebackers.

Before coming to OU, Hobbs was a Football Operations and the Recruiting Intern from January of 2014 to May of 2014 for Middlebury College. He was directly involved in recruiting, data entry, offensive and defensive scheme discussion, and football operation tasks.

Prior to that, Hobbs was a student assistant coach at Castleton State College from August 2013 to December 2013. He was the assistant linebackers coach, helped with quality control , and was the Director of Football Operations. At CSC, Hobbs served as a member of the defensive staff, helping with all aspects of the defense. He helped with scouting reports, film review, data entry, assisted with recruiting, and coordinated all video efforts of the football staff. From May of 2012 to August of 2012, Hobbs helped in football operations and was a sports marketing intern at CSC.  

Hobbs was a three year letterman on the football field at linebacker for NCAA Division III Castleton State College in Castleton, Vt. He was a member of the Leadership Council for the Spartans. Hobbs was on the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) All-Academic Team in 2012. He graduated from CSC in May of 2014 with his degree in sports administration with a broadcasting concentration. He minored in coaching. He is working on his MBA at OU. At Middlebury High School, he was an Honorable Mention selection on the All-Vermont Team at defensive end.  

He is supported by his fiancé Brittny Buck, his parents, and his brother Wren and sister Clover.
