Coach Schaaf is in his third season as a graduate assistant coach with the OU football program. He will coach the Brave linebackers.
Schaaf comes to Ottawa University after spending the 2021-22 school year Durant High School in Plant City, Fla. as a social studies teach in the ESE program. He was the varsity linebackers coach, the junior varsity defensive coordinator and the assistant varsity wrestling coach.
Prior to his time at DHS, Schaaf spent four years as a member of the William Jewell College football team. He played both defensive tackle and defensive end for the Cardinals.
Schaaf graduated from William Jewell College in May of 2021 with degrees in English and history. He is working on his masters in education from Ottawa University.
