Biography

High School: Simpson was a two year letterman in basketball and cross country for Akins High School. As a senior, he was named MVP, team captain, and Offensive Player of the Year. Simpson was an Honorable Mention All-District selection as a junior. He averaged 11 points, two steals, and five rebounds per game. Simpson shot 40 percent from behind the 3-pt line.

Personal: Simpson is the son of Jessica Rivera and Robert Simpson and plans to major in biology.
