Biography

2014-15: Shaffer split time between the junior varsity and the varsity levels as a sophomore. On varsity, he made his first appearance versus Southwestern College (1/31).

2013-14: Shaffer was a member of the junior varsity team as a freshman.

High School: Shaffer earned three letters in basketball, two in football, and two in golf for Santa Fe Trail High School. He earned All-Big 7 honors, was named Honorable Mention All-Area by the Lawrence Journal World, and twice was named Honorable Mention All-State 4A by the Topeka Capital Journal. Shaffer was also selected to play in the 2013 Flint Hills Optimist All-Star Game held in Emporia, Kan.
