2021-22: Gentry earned 23^rd place at the OU Fall Invitational by shooting a combined score of 164. At the KC Cup, Gentry placed 48^th overall with a score of 179. Gentry shot a combined score of 184 to place 78^th at the Tabor College Classic. Gentry finished 26^th overall at the Linda Lowry Open by shooting a three round score of 267. At the KCAC Championships, Gentry placed 46^th with a four-round score of 346.

2020-21: Gentry placed in one tournament during the 2020-21 campaign. Gentry placed 54^th at the KCAC #1 tournament with a four-round score of 264, round one of 88, round two of 42, round three of 45 and round four of 89.

High School: At Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, Gentry lettered in golf and bowling.

Personal: Gentry is the son of Cindy and Shane Gentry … communications major. In his spare time, Gentry plays the French horn and bowls.
