2021-22: Competing at the USA Powerlifting Missouri State Championship and Open, Trejo placed first in the 83 KG Junior Equipped Division and earned a trip to nationals. It was the first time competing in the equipped division. Trejo squatted 227.5 KG, benched 132.5 KG, and deadlifted 227.5 KG. He placed 15th at the USA Powerlifting National Collegiate in the men’s 82.5KG Equipped Division. He finished the meet with a squat of 220KG, a bench of 130KG, and a deadlift of 237.5KG for a total of 582.5KG

2020-21: At the Star City Showdown, Trejo earned a finish of first in the men's 84kg weight class. He finished with a personal best weight total of 530kg and hit new personal marks in all three lifts.

2019-20: At the Kansas State Championships, Trejo placed first in the 83 kilo teen division. He had a kilogram total of 492.5. Trejo went 8-for-9 on attempts. Trejo earned second in the 83kg weight class with a total personal best of 515kg at the Central Collegiate Cup.

High School: Trejo lettered in baseball and football for Scott Community High School. He helped the Beavers to the Kansas 3A State Championship. Trejo earned first in two out of three competitions in 2019.
