High School: Salazar earned four letters in bowling for Canyon High School under head coach Thomas Timm. She helped her team to a 2015 IFT State Championship. Salazar led CHS to a second place finish at the 2016 regional championship and to the state quarterfinals. She was named San Antonio Area Bowler of the Year in 2016. In 2017, Salazar finished in the top 30 in the nation at the High School National Championships. She earned an individual regional championship in 2017 and 2018 and from 2014 to 2018, was named to the All-District Team. Salazar earned All-District Tournament Team honors in 2015. In 2016 and 2017, she was named to the All-Tournament team at KATCUP. Salazar was named to the 2017 San Antonio Area All-City Team. She was the Texas State USBC Doubles Champion in 2017 placed second at the District Tournament in 2018 and was named to the Ebonite Classic All-Tournament Team in 2017 and 2018. Salazar also helped her team to a 2017 and 2018 Road Runners Travel League Championship.
