Ellsworth Community College: Negron earned one letter in volleyball for Ellsworth Community College. She played in 31 matches and 112 sets for the Panthers. Negron finished her 2014 season with 186 kills, 647 assists, 31 service aces, 238 digs, and 39 blocks.

High School: Negron was a four-year varsity starter and team captain for her high school, Colegio San Felipe in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. From 2007-2013, she played club volleyball for Capitanas, Alivah, Arsel, Manati and Nitrosa clubs in Puerto Rico. In 2012 she was awarded MVP honors at the Jeep Junior National Tournament in Puerto Rico, and was a part of the Jeep Junior National Tournament All-Star team 2010, 2011 and 2013. In 2013 Negron took away MVP awards at the Totin Matos Tournament in Puerto Rico. She's also traveled to Florida to compete in the AAU Junior National Tournament.
