2020: Johnson joined the team at the start of second semester, playing in 24 matches. She had 106 kills, a .243 attacking percentage, six assists, 24 digs, and 70 blocks. Johnson had a career high 10 kills versus York College and seven blocks twice with the last time being against the University of Saint Mary.
Bemidji State University: Johnson appeared in 94 sets and all 28 matches during the 2019 season. She finished fifth on the team with 95 kills and hit .190 (95K-43E-273TA) for second on the team. Johnson was second on the team with 59 blocks (20s-39a) for a 0.63 blocks per set average. She tied for third in the NSIC with 20 solo blocks and totaled six assists and 15 digs. Johnson had a season high nine kills versus McKendree University. She recorded a season high nine blocks versus Wayne State University.
Kansas City Kansas Community College: Johnson was a two-time All-Region VI volleyball selection and two-time All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference selection. She led the Blue Devils in kills (381, 3.28/set) and blocks (108, 0.93/set) her sophomore season. Johnson helped the Blue Devils volleyball program to a 19-16 record in 2018 and a Region VI Tournament appearance.
High School: Johnson was a four-time letter winner in volleyball and basketball at Lee’s Summit High School. She helped the Tigers reach the national tournament four years in a row and were ranked eighth in Missouri her senior season. Johnson earned All-State Academic honors.
Personal: Daughter of Chris and Marla Johnson… Her brother, Blue Johnson, played basketball for Park University.
