2017-18: Barclay finished his freshman season with an overall record of 12-7. He had a dual record of 4-1. Barclay had a pin total of four with four falls. He is ranked first in the OU record book in season wins by weight in the 174 pound weight class with 10. Barclay is ranked fourth in the OU record book in wins in a season by a freshman (12).

High School: Barclay lettered in wrestling and football for Deer Creek High School. He helped DCHS to three wrestling conference championships. Barclay participated in Dual State in 2015, 2016 and again in 2017.  On the football field, Barclay helped the Antlers to four straight playoff appearances. He is a member of NHS and a presidential scholar. Barclay was also captain of the football team.

Personal: Barclay is the son of Robbie and Kerri Barclay and plans to major in engineering.
