OTTAWA, Kan. – Ottawa University women's basketball player, Cierra Brown, has been named KCAC Offensive Player of the Week the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.

Brown, a senior guard from Powder Springs, Ga., came off the bench to score 27 points and pull down three rebounds in OU's 71-65 victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan University last Tuesday evening. She shot 71.4 percent (10-14) from the floor 83.3 percent (5-6) from behind the 3-pt line and was 2-for-2 from the free throw line. Brown also had one assist and one block.

The Braves (9-5) returns to the hardwood on Tuesday, Jan. 3 against non-conference opponent Manhattan Christian College. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
