OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University women's tennis team is moving on to the KCAC Tournament Semifinals with a 4-1 victory over Friends University on Wednesday afternoon on the campus courts. The Braves won the doubles point, 2-1 and finished with a record of 3-0 in singles.

In no. 1 doubles, Yana Goranova and Priyanshi Sharma defeated Nikolett Krivek and Ariel Williams 6-0. Julia Wienese and Isidora Hrnjak won their no. 2 doubles match 6-1 over Sydney McGrown and Jazzmyn Williams.

Goranova defeated Jazzmyn Williams 6-0, 6-1 in no. 1 singles. Hrnjak won her no. 2 singles match 6-0, 6-1 over Krivek. Wienese took a 6-1, 6-3 victory in no. 3 singles over Ariel Williams.
Ottawa (9-7) returns to action on Friday, April 29 at the Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka, Kan. against McPherson College. The match is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
