The Braves are on a seven game winning streak after sweeping Tabor College on Tuesday at Alumni Park. OU won game one, 3-2 and took game two in a walk off in the bottom of the 7th inning, 7-6. In the two games, Ottawa hit .306, scored 10 runs, had 15 hits, had a .469 slugging percentage, walked eight times, and had a .404 on base percentage. The OU pitching staff had a 3.00 ERA, striking out six in 8.1 innings. Tabor had a .137 batting average.
For the seventh time in program history the Braves have won 30 or more games in a season. OU has an overall record of 30-11-1 and finished first in the KCAC with a record of 20-4, its sixth conference championship in program history.
Through 42 games, OU has scored 259 runs and hit 35 home runs. The Braves have a .298 batting average, a .382 on base percentage, and a .467 slugging percentage.
Ottawa is ranked 39th in the NAIA in runs (259), 17th in home runs (35), 42nd in RBI (231), 32nd in walks (128), 40th in sacrifice flies (14), 26th in ERA (2.23), 14th in shutouts (14), and 10th in opponent batting average (.203).
OU's 35 home runs is ranked second in the Brave record book in single season home runs. The school record is 39 set in 2014.
Ottawa has a record of 22-2 against Haskell Indian Nations University. The Braves have won 19 straight against HINU and took two from Haskell on Feb. 14 at Alumni Park. OU won both games in five innings, 11-0, 9-0. OU has won eight straight against HINU in Lawrence. The last time the Braves were defeated by Haskell was on April 14, 2004. Haskell won game one, 6-4, and took game two, 10-1. The first meeting between the two teams happened in 2001. Ottawa won the game 13-2.

Haskell Indian Nations University is 5-29 overall, 3-5 in the CAC, has lost six straight games, and is 1-9 at home this season. The Indians enter Saturday's double header coming off a double header sweep at the hands of Cottey College in Lawrence on April 22. The Comets won game one, 10-0 and took game two, 10-2.
HINU has not won a game since April 8 when the Indians defeated Crowley's Ridge College 12-3 and Iowa Wesleyan University 9-1.
Angelina Harjo leads Haskell in batting average (.305), Kylie Standingwater is HINU's leader in RBI (15), and Shyann Chischilly is the team's leader in ERA (6.16) and strike outs (38).
