SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Ottawa University women's beach volleyball team fell 5-0 to Hendrix College on Saturday afternoon.
Ottawa's no. 1 pair of
Kaitlyn Haller and
Madison Wampler fell 21-11 and 21-15.
Taylor Mobley and
Randi Johnson lost their no. 2 pairs match in three sets, 22-20, 14-21, 15-11. In no. 3 pairs,
Asia Cole and Elli Rodger lost in three sets as well, 21-18, 15-21, 15-11.
Alex Boyle and
Emily Jackson lost their no. 4 pairs match 21-13 and 21-16.
Ava Taton and
Alison Thornton fell in three sets in no. 5 pairs 22-20, 14-21, 15-10.
Mia Burge and
Jaiden Blakely took a 21-15, 21-17 victory in their exhibition match.
Ottawa (4-16) returns to action against Missouri State University at 1pm.
