OTTAWA, Kan. – The #12 Ottawa University women's wrestling team picked up the win against the Avila University Eagles on Thursday in Kansas City, 35-13.

Braden Ledford won by technical fall (17-2) in the 133lb weight division over Luke Ward. Irish Furthmyre defeated Terrell Carter-Williams by fall in the 149lb weight division. Ben Mitchell and Francis Morrissey won by falls in their weight classes. Braden Anderson won by forfeit in the 174lb weight division. JD Perez secured the win by fall over Blake Becker in the 197lb weight division.
