OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University baseball team took two from Viterbo University on Saturday afternoon at Alumni Park. Ottawa won game one, 11-0, and took game two, 7-1 over the V-Hawks.
Game One
Ottawa took the lead in the bottom of the first inning. 
Jonah Weisner led off with a walk. He then stole second and OU had a runner in scoring position. 
Tyler Farnham bunted, reaching first and Weisner moved 90 feet from home. 
Cole Broughton scored Weisner with a single and Ottawa led 1-0.
Lukas Rich followed that with a single to right, scoring Farnham to give OU a 2-0 lead. Ottawa pushed its lead to 3-0 when Broughton scored on a wild pitch. The Braves scored one more run in the inning on a 
Brandon Kelley sacrifice fly to left field and OU had a 4-0 lead.
In the bottom of the second inning Ottawa increased its lead. 
Robby Williams scored on a wild pitch to give the Braves a 5-0 lead. OU pushed one more run across home plate in the bottom of the third. 
Cole Broughton connected on his fifth home run of the season and Ottawa had a 6-0 lead.
The OU offense scored four more runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead and the game, 11-0.

- Cole Broughton and Tyler Farnham had two hits apiece.
- Farnham and Gabe Eckstaine led the Braves with two RBI.
- Tyler Bryant had his longest outing of the season, pitching seven innings in the win. He struck out 11 and only allowed one hit.
Game Two
Ottawa broke the 0-0 tie in the bottom of the fifth inning. 
Brandon Kelley reached first on a walk and 
Zachary Spradlin entered as a pinch runner. Spradlin advanced to second on a balk and OU had a runner in scoring position. 
Nicholas Sizemore moved Spradlin to third with a ground out to first. 
Connor Jeffers single to center, scoring Spradlin to give OU a 1-0 lead.
The V-Hawks tied the game in the top of the sixth, 1-1. Ottawa answered in its bottom half of the inning.
The Braves scored six runs on six hits. 
Jonah Weisner and Jeffers had triples. 
Robby Williams hit a two run home run and OU led 7-1.
Eric Reece entered the top of the seventh. After surrendering a walk to the first batter he faced, it was strike out, fly out, strike out, for the OU pitcher and the Braves took the 7-1 victory.
