OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University baseball team took two from Viterbo University on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Park to move its win streak to eight games. OU took a 11-3 victory in game one and was game two, 6-3.
Game One
Viterbo struck first, taking a 1-0 lead over the Braves in the top of the first inning. Ottawa tied the game with a run in its bottom half of the inning. 
Jonah Weisner singled to right to lead off the Braves and then stole second and third. 
Cole Broughton doubled to left, scoring Weisner to tie the game at 1-1.
In the top of the second Viterbo retook the lead with two runs, 3-1. Ottawa cut into the V-Hawk lead with a run in the bottom of the second. 
Robby Williams singled to left and then advanced to third on a hit to right by 
Connor Jeffers. Nicholas Sizmore scored Williams with a sacrifice fly to left and OU was down, 3-2.
Ottawa held the V-Hawks scoreless in the top of the third and took its first lead in the bottom half of the inning. The Braves scored seven runs, on six hits and one error to take a 9-3 lead over Viterbo.
The Braves pushed two more runs across home plate in the bottom of the sixth. After Broughton reached first on an error by the VU second baseman, 
Pedro Astacio hit a home run to left field giving the Braves the lead and the game, 11-3.

Game Two
The Braves took the lead in the bottom of the second inning. 
Connor Jeffers and 
Nicholas Sizemore hit back-to-back home runs to give the Braves a 2-0 lead.
Viterbo cut into OU's lead with a run in the top of the third, 2-1. Ottawa responded in the bottom of the second. Back-to-back walks by 
Tyler Farnham and 
Cole Broughton gave OU runners on first and second. Robbie Williams was then hit by a pitch, loading the bases.
Pedro Astacio walked, scoring Farnham and OU had a 3-1 lead. 
Connor Jeffers scored Broughton with a sacrifice fly to right, pushing the Ottawa lead to 4-1.
The Braves scored one run in the bottom of the fourth on a sacrifice fly to right by 
Cole Broughton to take a 5-1 lead. In the bottom of the fifth, 
Gabe Eckstaine scored on a single by Astacio and OU had a 6-1 lead.
Viterbo pushed two runs across home plate in the top of the sixth to get within 6-3. In the top of the seventh, 
Caden Gray came entered the game and earned the save as OU took the 6-3 victory.
