2023: In his first season in an OU uniform, Astacio played in 47 games and made 39 starts. He hit .311 (42-135), scored 30 runs, hit nine doubles, one triple, and 10 home runs. Astacio drove in 35 runs, hat a .615 slugging percentage, walked 10 times, was hit by  pitch eight times, had a .390 on base percentage and stole two bases.

Uni. of Texas Permian Basin: In 2022, Astacio played in 43 games and made 41 starts. He finished third on the team with a .310 batting average. Astacio tied for the team lead in doubles with 11. He had 44 hits, drove in 29 runs, scored 32 runs, hit seven home runs, walked 12 times, was hit by a pitch four times, had a .373 on base percentage, a .563 slugging percentage, and hit three sacrifice flies. Astacio had 55 put outs, two assists and finished the season with a .983 fielding percentage.

Chandler Gilbert Community College: In his three seasons at CGCC, Astacio played in 62 games. He hit .309, scoring 23 runs, hitting 16 doubles, two triples, and three home runs. He drove in 38 runs, walked 12 times, had two stolen bases, finished with a .351 on base percentage, and a .459 slugging percentage.

High School: Astacio lettered in baseball and football at Cherry Creek High School..

Personal: Son of Ana Valera ... business administration major. His favorite food is chicken gizzards and his favorite MLB player is Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
