#19 Braves Host Bethel on Monday

Ottawa is on a four game winning streak after sweeping Tabor College to open KCAC play and defeating UHSP in five innings in their game last Monday at Alumni Park.

The Braves had four players hit .500 last week in their three games. Katie Enneking (4-for-8), Allison Kearney (4-for-8), Madison Bunfill (4-for-8), and Aliks Serna (3-for-6).

Katie Enneking leads the Braves in batting average (.414), Madison Bunfill is OU's leader in RBI (22), and Ashlynn Mercer leads OU in ERA (3.27) and strike outs (44).

Through 21 games, Ottawa has a .315 batting average, a .393 on base percentage, and a .482 slugging percentage. OU has hit 16 home runs and scored 133 runs.

The Braves are ranked 31st in the NAIA in runs (133), 50th in hits (176), 19th in doubles (39), 13th in home runs (16), 35th in RBI (113), 21st in extra base hits (58), 32nd in total bases (269), 48th in walks (60), 30th in hit by pitch (15), 25th in slugging percentage (.482), and 45th in opponent batting average (.240).

Ottawa leads the series against Bethel College, 20-0 and is 10-0 against the Threshers at Alumni Park. In last year's double, the Braves won game one, 12-2 in six inning and took game two, 10-0 in five innings. The first meeting between the two teams happened on April 24, 2012 in North Newton, Kan. Ottawa won game one, 8-0 in five innings and 11-0, in six innings.

Bethel College is 9-11 overall and 0-2 in the KCAC. The Threshers are on a three game losing streak with losses to Evangel University (13-5) on March 11 and Bethany College (10-0/5-2) on March 14. Bethel is 2-2 on the road this season.

Through 20 games, the Threshers have a .264 batting average, a .330 on base percentage, and a .324 slugging percentage. Bethel has hit two home runs and scored 80 runs.

Taylor Sanfillippo leads Bethel in batting average (.380), Brianna Reeves is BC's leader in RBI (17), Sidney Smith leads the team in ERA (4.39), and Regan Robinson is the Threshers' leader in strike outs (29).
