(RV)Braves Return to AdventHealth Field to Host Missouri Valley

OTTAWA, Kan. – The (RV) Ottawa University women's lacrosse team returns to AdventHealth Field for the first of five straight home games, hosting Missouri Valley on Thursday at 4 p.m.

Ottawa is looking to get in the win column for the first time this season against the winless Vikings. The Braves started the season off with a challenging first two games, back-to-back losses against No. 1 Benedictine and No. 4 Keiser. The Braves have dominated the series history against the Vikings, owning a 5-1 record.

Missouri Valley is coming off a 23-6 loss to Saint Mary, following losses to Hendrix and Huntingdon in their first two games. Junior Midfield Alex Lark leads the Vikings attack with five goals so far this season. Sophomore attack Alena Blachowski is second on the team with three goals.

Ottawa's Mckenzie Simmons leads the team with six goals so far this season. Cecily Anderson is close behind with five goals, scoring her 100th career goal last game against Keiser. Dinah Hinson and Shannon Carroll have added two goals apiece.
