(19) Braves Travel to Kansas Wesleyan on Wednesday

The Braves are on a six game winning streak after taking two from Bethel College on Monday afternoon at Alumni Park. In this two games against the Threshers, the Braves had a team batting average of .396. OU scored 14 runs, had a .585 slugging percentage, a .450 on base percentage, and was 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts. The Ottawa pitching staff held the Threshers to a .222 batting average, a 0.54 ERA, and struck out seven.

Ottawa is 19-4 overall, has a record of 4-0 in the KCAC, and is 7-3 on the road this season. In 23 games, the Braves have scored 147 runs, have a .322 batting average, a .398 on base percentage, a .491 slugging percentage, and OU has hit 18 home runs.

Ottawa won its first game against KWU in the KCAC Round Robin Tournament in Ottawa on April 3, 1998. OU won the game, 8-0. The Braves have won three straight games against the Coyotes in Salina.

Kansas Wesleyan University is 7-14 overall, 2-2 in the KCAC, are on a two game losing streak, and are 6-7 at home this season. Those two losses were last Saturday in Bartlesville, Okla. against Oklahoma Wesleyan University, 8-6, 3-1.
