(16) Softball Road Trips North to York on Saturday

The Braves split its double header with Bethany College on Wednesday afternoon at Alumni Park. The Swedes won game one in eight innings, 4-3, but the Braves rebounded to take game 2, 2-1.

Madison Bunfill leads the Braves in batting average (.397) and RBI (47). Ashlynn Mercer is OU's leader in ERA (2.80) and strike outs (91).

The Braves are 15-3 on the road this season and 8-0 on the road in KCAC play. In 19 road games this season, Ottawa is hitting .290, averaging 6.4 runs per game, has a .438 slugging percentage, a .369 on base percentage, and is 28-for-34 in stolen base attempts. The OU pitching staff has a 3.56 ERA, striking out 73 in 126 innings. Opponents are hitting .264 against OU.

Haylea Thomas leads York in batting average (.403) and RBI (23). Bailey Hardey is YU's leader in ERA (4.13) and Kate Reyes leads the team in strike outs (49).

York is ranked 39th in the NAIA in sacrifice hits (30).
