OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University women's tennis team finished the regular season with a 7-0 victory over Kansas Wesleyan University at Forest Park. OU took the doubles point, 3-0 and had a record of 6-0 in singles.

Lily Keimig and Isidora Hrnjak won their no. 3 doubles match 6-2 over Kyra Nolan and Kira McGrown. Ottawa took the point with Paula Persson and Priyanshi Sharma's no. 2 doubles victory over Eliza Camp and Kaitlyn Wrye, 6-2. Mariam Alli-Bologun and Alejandra Parra won their no. 1 doubles match 6-2 over Michaela Crowe and Kristi Henderson, 6-2.

Ottawa took a 2-0 lead over KWU with Sharma's 6-2, 6-0 victory in no. 2 singles over Henderson. Hrnjak's 6-0, 6-1 win over Crowe in no. 1 singles increased the Brave lead to 3-0. The Braves clinched the match with Persson's 6-1, 6-1 win in no. 4 singles over Camp, 4-0. Alli-Bologun defeated McGrown 6-1, 6-3 in no. 3 singles. Parra took a 6-1, 6-1 victory in no. 5 singles over Wrye. Keimig won her no. 6 singles match over Ania Bonner, 6-3, 6-3.

Ottawa (12-3, 8-1) will now compete in the KCAC Tournament at 2:00 p.m. on Friday April 28 at the Kossover Tennis Center.
