OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's basketball program is pleased to announce the signing of Sam Rollins, Brandon Martinez, Eric Titsworth, and Blake Cunningham for the 2023-23 season.
Cunningham is from Lake St. Louis, Mo. and attends Liberty High School Wentzville. He lettered in basketball, track, and cross country for the Eagles.
Cunningham is the son of Darnell and Renee Cunningham and plans to major in sports management.
Titsworth is from Tulsa, Okla. and attends Claremore Christian High School. He lettered in basketball for the Warriors. Titsworth helped lead CCHS to two HCAA State Championships (2020, 2021) and one HCAA State Runner-Up finish (2022). Titsworth was a two-time All-Conference selection, twice was named to the Weslynn Christian All-Tournament First Team, and was a 2022 HCAA All-State Honorable Mention selection.
Titsworth is the son of Scottie and Lauri Titsworth and plans to concentrate on general studies before deciding on a major. He played travel ball for Team Thad, Team Wizards and OK Showtime for coaches Jeff Oxford and Oz Lockheart.
Martinez is from Lamar, Colo. and attends Lamar High School. He lettered in basketball and was a two-time Tri-Peaks All-League selection with his Second Team and Honorable Mention selections.
Martinez is the son of Kathryn and Anthony Martinez and plans to major in sports leadership.
Rollins is from Castle Rock, Colo. and attends Valor Christian High School. He lettered in basketball for the Eagles. Rollins was an Honorable Mention All-League selection and a two-time Academic All-State selection. He helped the Eagles to the Great 8 at the Colorado 6A State Basketball Tournament.
Rollins is the son of MeiLon Dizmang and Michael Dizmang and plans to major in engineering. He played travel ball for the Elevation Flyers for coach John Wivholm.
