DeMarco Named NAIA 2nd Team All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Vincent DeMarco of the Ottawa University men's lacrosse team was selected as a NAIA men's lacrosse All-American, being named to the 2nd Team. It is Demarco's first All-American award following his sophomore season at OU.

The NAIA announced the 2023 NAIA Men's Lacrosse All-Americans as well as the Coach and Player of the Year. Patrick Johnston of Keiser (Fla.) is the 2023 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Coach of the Year. Johnston led his team to a 17-1 season that ended with the Seahawks first invitational title.

Cameron Cochran of Reinhardt (Ga.) is the 2023 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Player of the Year and is also a first-team All-American. Cochran played in all 16 contests for the Eagles this year and ranks second in the nation in points (104) and assists (56). The senior posted season career-highs in goals (48), assists (56), points (104), groundballs (52), caused turnovers (13) shots (118) and shots on goal (88). He also helped lead his team to the NAIA Invitational quarterfinal round. 

All of the selections are made by the All-American Committee and are comprised of first and second teams. There are 13 members on each of the All-American teams.
