The Ottawa University women's soccer team was picked to finish sixth in the Coaches Poll in the KCAC at the 2023 KCAC Women's Soccer Virtual Media Day. The poll was released on Thursday, August 10. Ottawa received 107 points in the poll.
Oklahoma Wesleyan topped the poll with 169 points and 13 first-place votes, followed by Kansas Wesleyan with 152 points and the remaining first-place vote. Friends, Southwestern, and Tabor finished up the top five with 140, 124, and 123 points, respectively. Ottawa (107), Saint Mary (96), Avila (85), and Bethel (78) made up spots 6-9. Evangel and McPherson tied for 10th place with 58 points each. Bethany (35), York (32), and Sterling (17) finished up the list in the 12-14 spots.
The Braves begin their season on Saturday, August 26 at home against William Penn University. That game is scheduled to kick off at 1:00 PM. KCAC play begins on Wednesday, September 13 against the University of Saint Mary. This game is also at home, and has a kick off scheduled for 5:00 PM.
