OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa University football program is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of Signing Day, with an exciting lineup of student-athletes hailing from 13 different states. This dynamic class brings not only athletic prowess but also a wealth of leadership and talent to Braves Nation.

Nick Davis, focusing on the program's needs, added, "This is an amazing class that checks all the boxes for our program. We've got a lot of great families joining Braves Nation. It's an exciting time for our team, and we can't wait to see what this group achieves."
Highlights of the Signing Day include:
- National Talent Pool: The Ottawa University Braves have successfully recruited athletes from 13 states, showcasing the program's broad appeal and ability to attract talent nationwide.
- On-Field and Off-Field Leaders: Among the signings, an impressive 28 captains have committed to the Ottawa University team, adding a strong leadership foundation to the squad.
- Academic Excellence: With an impressive average GPA of 3.31, these student-athletes not only excel on the field but also in the classroom, demonstrating the commitment to a well-rounded student-athlete experience.
Offensive coordinator
Clarence Anderson shared his excitement about the new recruits, stating, "We've signed guys who embody the spirit of Ottawa and will live up to our gold standard. These athletes will be successful both on and off the field during their time here."
Defensive coordinator
Blake Mudd expressed similar enthusiasm, emphasizing the depth and value the incoming class brings to the program. "We're pumped to coach these outstanding young men. They bring a lot of talent to the table, and we're looking forward to seeing them in action."
Ottawa opens the 2024 season on Saturday, August 31 against Southwestern College at AdventHealth Field.
