Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa women's lacrosse team continues their 2024 season with their home opener against St. Ambrose.

• Ottawa played two games last weekend- a 4-20 road loss at Benedictine on Saturday, and an 11-15 neutral site loss against Quincy on Sunday. Mackenzie Simmons was the leading scorer for the Braves in both contests.
• Mackenzie Simmons is the leading goalscorer with 12 goals. Curstin Brown, Felecia Dixon, and Isabella Pagliei have one goal each. Dixon and Shelby Bearden are the groundballs leaders with eight apiece. 
• St. Ambrose has played one game this season, a 7-25 home loss against NCAA Division II opponent Lewis. 
• St. Ambrose has four goalscorers this season, with Anabelle Brown being their only multiple goalscorer with three. Three Bees have one assist each.
• Ottawa and St. Ambrose have played six times before with the series split at 3-3. Last season's matchup was a 14-11 road win for Ottawa, and the streak is one for the Braves. The series is split 1-1 when played in Ottawa.
