SHAWNEE MISSION, Kan. – The (RV) Ottawa University women's beach volleyball team defeated Oklahoma Wesleyan University 3-2 at Shawnee Mission Beach on Wednesday afternoon.
Asia Cole and
Samantha Stahl, Ottawa's no. 5 pair, won a hard fought match in three sets defeating Natalier Ater and Elizabeth Hope 18-21, 21-10, 15-3. In no. 2 pairs,
Carson Schuman and Radaisy Valdez won their match in three sets, defeating Ashlynn Farrell and Maddy McKinney 19-21, 21-17, 15-13.
Madison Brauner and
Bailee Nickel defeated Angelina Arvizu and Jordan Isbell 21-17, 21-17 in no. 3 pairs.
Kennedy Krokroskia and
Loraine Ruiz fell 21-10, 21-11 in no. 1 pairs to Allison Howard and Sydney Collins. In no. 4 pairs,
Brittan Lee and
Brenna Diller fell 21-10, 21-17 to Claira Warren and Avery Forman.
The Braves (5-7) return to the sand on Thursday, March 14 in a match against (4) Park University and Baker University at Shawnee Mission Beachy. OU will play Park at 11:00 a.m. and Baker at 12:30 p.m
