SHAWNEE, Kan. – The (RV) Ottawa University beach volleyball team fell 4-1 and 5-0 to Wayne State College on Tuesday afternoon at Shawnee Mission Beach.

Carson Schuman and Radaisy Valdez took a 22-20, 22-19 victory.
Kira Cherry and
Grace Davis fell 21-9, 21-14 in no. 1 pairs.
Kennedy Krokroskia and
Loraine Ruiz, competing in no. 2 pairs, were defeated 21-17, 21-18. Marison Brauner and
Bailee Nickel fell in a three set match 10-21, 21-17, 15-10 in no. 4 pairs.
Samantha Stahl and
Asia Cole also fell in three sets in their no. 5 pairs match 21-23, 21-12, 15-8.
Paige Phillips and
Mollie Mae Brooks lost their exhibition match 21-14, 21-13.

Schuman and Valdez fell in a three set match in no. 3 pairs 20-22, 21-10, 15-8. Cherry and Davis lost 21-12, 21-6 in no. 1 pairs. Krokroskia and Ruiz, playing no. 2 pairs, fell 21-10, 21-9. Brauner and Nickle were defeated in their no. 4 pairs match 21-16, 21-10. Stahl and Cole lost their no. 5 pairs match 21-19, 21-15. Phillips and Madelyn Bell lost 21-9, 21-10 in their exhibition match.
