OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's volleyball team fell 3-0; 25-17, 25-16, 25-17; to Morningside University on Friday afternoon in Wilson Field House.
How it Happened
- Morningside took the early lead in set one, 7-4. Ottawa chipped away at the deficit and after a kill by Akeil Williams and a Max Baumann service ace, OU was within 13-10. That is all the closer the Braves would get. Morningside ended the set outscoring OU 12-7 to, taking the 25-17 victory.
- The Mustangs scored the first five points of set no. 2. The Braves were not able to recover from their slow start and Morningside took the 25-16 victory.
- The Braves trailed Morningside 10-9 in set three. The Mustangs pushed their lead to 16-11. A kill by Williams put OU within 19-15. The Braves were not able to rally and Morningside took the 25-17 victory.
