BELTON, Texas – The (RV) Ottawa University women's beach volleyball team finished the UMHBeach Tourney with a record of 3-1 after defeating Oklahoma Wesleyan University 3-2 on Friday morning.
Brittan Lee and
Brenna Diller, playing no. 3 pairs, took a 11-21, 21-16, 23-21 victory.
Bailee Nickel and
Madison Brauner won their no. 4 pairs match 21-15, 21-13.
Samantha Stahl and
Asia Cole earned a 21-17, 22-20 victory in no. 5 pairs. Kennedy Krokroska and Loraine Rua fell in their no. 1 pairs match 21-10, 21-14. In no. 2 pairs, Radaisy Valdez and
Carson Schuman were defeated 21-17, 23-21.
Paige Phillips and
Emily Park lost 21-15, 21-17 in their exhibition match.
The Braves (9-11) will now compete in their conference tournament on Wednesday, April 3 at Shawnee Mission Beach in Shawnee, Kan.
