OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University baseball team fell 7-1 to (RV) Tabor College at Alumni Park on Friday afternoon.
The Bluejays broke the scoreless tie with three runs in the top of the third inning. Tabor extended its lead to 6-0 with a run in the top of the fifth and two runs in the top of the sixth.
Ottawa cut into the Bluejay lead in the bottom of the sixth.
Nicholas Sizemore hit his second home run of the season and OU trailed 6-1. Tabor answered with a run in the top of the seventh, increasing its lead to 7-1.
OU was not able to rally in their final three at bats and Tabor took the 7-1 victory.
