Box Score Fort Wayne, Ind.- The Ottawa women's lacrosse team suffered another loss as they fell to (10) Indiana Tech by a score of 11-18 in Fort Wayne on Wednesday afternoon.
The game started off strongly in Ottawa's favor, with the Braves leading 5-1 after the first period. By halftime, it was 8-5, still in favor of Ottawa. Indiana Tech scored five goals to Ottawa's two in the third, tying in the game heading into the final period. There, the Warriors would outscore the Braves 8-1 to take the seven goal win.
Ashley Santillan lead Ottawa with five goals, and
Mackenzie Simmons and Felecia Dixon scored three and two, respectively.
Curstin Brown scored one goal.
Isabella Pagliei and
KaiAnna Senne had one assist each.
Shelby Bearden made 18 saves.
Ottawa (0-4, 0-0 KCAC) returns to the field on Saturday, March 9 as they head to Oskaloosa, Iowa to take on William Penn University. That game is scheduled to begin at 12 PM.
