Men's Lacrosse Hosts Saint Mary

Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa men's lacrosse team looks to start a winning streak as they host Saint Mary in a KCAC matchup.

Ottawa will clinch a share of the KCAC Regular Season Title with a win today. Missouri Baptist has a share already at 3-1, Ottawa and Columbia are currently sitting at 2-1 in conference play.
The Braves are coming off a 24-3 home win over Midland on April 6. Vicent DeMarco scored seven goals, Reid McDowell scored five. David Wiley scored four, Samuel Snyder scored three. Ethan NewMyer and Jack Brackin scored two goals each, and William Carroll scored one. DeMarco made four assists, McDowell and NewMyer made two each. Wiley and Brackin made one assist each. Jake Christopherson made two saves.
Vincent DeMarco is the goals leader for Ottawa with 32 goals. DeMarco is also the assists leader with 17. Jacob Vincentini is the groundballs and faceoff percentage leader, with 102 and .638 (150-235), respectively.
Saint Mary is 1-9 on the season and 0-3 in conference play. Their most recent game was a 6-16 road loss to Missouri Baptist on April 6. The Spires' lone win came on February 17, an 11-1 home win over Missouri Valley.
