Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa women's lacrosse team opens their KCAC Tournament campaign as they take on UHSP in the semifinals at Missouri Baptist University.

• Ottawa is coming off a 24-0 home win over Midland on April 10. Mackenzie Simmons lead Ottawa with nine goals, KaiAnna Senne scored four goals. Isabella Pagliei scored three goals, Curstin Brown and Faith Ruoff scored two goals each. Four players scored one goal each.
• Mackenzie Simmons is the leading goalscorer with 88 goals. Ashley Santillan has 27 goals. Santillan is the assists leader with 27. Curstin Brown is the groundballs leader with 49.
• UHSP comes into the tournament as the three seed with a 7-6 overall record and 2-2 in conference play. Their most recent game was a 2-21 home loss to Missouri Baptist, who holds the top seed.
• Caeley Doran is the goals leader for UHSP with 33, Ella Penke leads the Eutectics in assists with 16.
• Ottawa and UHSP met in the regular season on April 4, which saw the Braves come away with a 13-10 road win. This was Ottawa's second win over UHSP, moving the series record to 2-0 in favor of the Braves.
