(21) Men's Soccer Earns Three NAIA All-American Selections

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three Ottawa University men's soccer players have been named to the NAIA All-American Teams, the NAIA office announced on Monday morning. Senior Alonso Basauri, Freshman Antonio Natalucci, and Senior Felipe Padierna earned All-American honors.

Basauri, a Senior midfielder from Santiago, Chile, was a first team selection. Basauri played and started in all 24 games, scored nine goals, and was second nationally in assists with 19. Basauri also earned First Team All-KCAC Honors this season.

Natalucci, a Freshman forward from Rome, Italy, was a second team selection. Playing in 22 games and starting in 21, Natalucci scored 15 goals and made three assists. Natalucci also earned First Team All-KCAC Honors and was named KCAC Freshman of the Year this season.

Padierna, a Senior defender from Cadiz, Spain, was a third team selection. Padierna appeared in and started 21 games, scoring three goals and making three assists. Padierna also earned First Team All-KCAC Honors this season.

Ottawa's three selections tied for the third-most by any team.
